Chief Commercial Officer

We're seeking a visionary Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to build and execute the entire Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, driving exponential growth. The Role:
This is a profoundly hands-on role, the first commercial hire - meaning you will own the sales pipeline, processes, and strategy from the ground up. You are the architect of the commercial organization and the engine of revenue generation.
- Own GTM: Develop, implement, and lead the entire commercial strategy.
- Drive Sales: Personally close high-value deals with new primes, constellation operators, and satellite manufacturers.
- Build the Foundation: Establish the sales process, tools, and foundations for a scalable commercial team.
What We Need You to Bring:
This opportunity requires a specific blend of experience in the U.S. commercial space and defense ecosystems, prioritizing speed and standardization:
- Hardware Sales Expertise: Proven success selling physical hardware or subsystems (mechanisms, avionics, power systems, etc.) into the NewSpace & DoD markets
- COTS Component DNA: Deep knowledge and experience specifically selling Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) components into the space supply chain.
- Elite Network: An existing, active network across agile DoD primes, emerging constellation operators, or cutting-edge satellite manufacturers.
- Scale-Minded: A passion for standardization, speed, and product-driven sales over custom engineering and slow, bureaucratic procurement cycles.
- First-Hire Comfort: Comfortable and excited to operate as an Individual contributor initially where you'll personally drive major sales, with the ability to grow and lead a team in the future.
