We are seeking a Space Systems Engineer to support the development and delivery of their advanced biotechnology platforms. This role is integral in managing system requirements, analysing trade-offs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project organisation, systems integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

  • Lead requirements management, ensuring traceability, verification, and alignment with overall system architecture.

  • Analyse and maintain power and mass budgets, optimising system performance within defined constraints.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards, integrating best practices into system design and validation.

  • Conduct system-level trade studies, balancing performance, risk, and cost considerations.

  • Develop interface control documentation, ensuring seamless integration across hardware, software, and operational subsystems.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, biotechnology, and operations, to coordinate project milestones and system integration.

Requirements:

  • ​Strong requirements management experience, including documentation, traceability and verification processes.​

  • Ability to analyse and optimise power and mass budgets for complex systems.

  • Familiarity with relevant space and biotechnology standards.

  • 2+ Years Space experience

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with PLM/PDM systems.

  • Strong systems engineering and project coordination skills
