The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customers market presence across the UK & Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sales within the Space or Aerospace sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the space and satellite industry.

  • Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, primarily government organisations and commercial companies.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Collaborate with the business development and advisory teams to align sales strategies.

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition to the onboarding team.

  • Utilise CRM tools (preferably Pipedrive) to track and manage sales activities and customer interactions.

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • An understanding of the space sector, including satellite operators, space traffic companies, and related software solutions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Experience with CRM tools, preferably Pipedrive.

  • Ability to analyse data and prioritise sales strategies based on insights.

  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented.

  • Experience working with international government organisations and understanding of their procurement processes.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
